4. How do I spread bet with Cantor Spreadfair?
You can bet online with Cantor Spreadfair 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at spreadfair.com. You can also bet over the telephone by calling 08000 111 442 between 7.00am and 11.00pm daily. These hours will be extended for live events.
5. How can I view live prices?
Live prices can be viewed at spreadfair.com.
6. How much commission do I pay?
Commission is paid based upon your net winnings in normal markets, so if you have realised a net loss you would not pay any commission. For long term markets, commission is charged per trade, at the time of bet closure and not netted off against future or previous losing trades.
Commission is initially set at a rate of 5%; however this level can be reduced based on your trading activity.
Spread bets are high risk products; you need deposit only a small percentage of the value of the bet. However, your losses may substantially exceed that deposit very rapidly and thus require you to make additional deposits at short notice to maintain your bets. Spread bets are not suitable for all customers. Before betting, you should ensure you fully understand the risks and seek independent financial advice if necessary.
